ICIS/IDN Project in Liberia

Wet rice farm developed and planted by ex-combatants of Liberia’s civil war. 
Sponsored by the Danish Refugee Committee, the farm is part of a large schooling and reintegration facility at which some of the most hardened and reluctant ex-combatants are being taught vocational skills and reintegrated into Liberian society. This is just one example of the types of recovery efforts undertaken by the international aid community and Liberian NGOs.
