The cornerstone of ICC is a formal educational partnership with Cary Reynolds Elementary School, Georgia's most international public elementary school, with 30 different languages spoken in the school. Established in April 2001, the partnership expands on the existing initiative of ICIS and its Center for International Programs Abroad (CIPA) to enable Emory international students, returning study-abroad students, graduate students, and faculty experts to visit local schools and civic-group meetings where they can learn from and share interests with members of Atlanta's growing international communities. Learn more about the ICIS-Cary Reynolds partnership here.
Funding for the ICIS-Cary Reynolds partnership has been provided by the United States Department of State, through a grant from the Cooperative Grants Program of NAFSA: Association of International Educators, and by the Joint Activities Committee of Emory College and Emory's Division of Campus Life.
